Ethan and Natalie

These are my children.  Their personalities are night and day.  What I discovered (God is so funny), is that I love them each just as passionately for their individual traits.  I didn't understand or believe that to be possible until I had Natalie.  I was so in love with my boy and his kind, gentle, contemplative ways that I didn't believe I could love a second child with the same passion.  I had Natalie when Ethan was 4 years old.  From the beginning, her personality was clearly defined.  She was persistent, independent, and fearless.  And, I loved her with the same ferocity that I loved Ethan.  To say that they bring me happiness would be the world's greatest understatement.  Thank you for letting me share.

P.S.  These were taken in San Antonio.  I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go back in the fall to take pictures of your family there! If there's enough interest, I can make that happen :)  Just shoot me an email.

Beautiful Boy

We got rained out once, but we managed to make it happen!  This little one was fast asleep when he got to our shoot, but he woke up in the sweetest and smiliest of moods.  How often does that happen?!  He was a dream to photograph and his mom and dad did a great job, too.  :)

Paisley is TWO!

This little dumpling was a little bit shy in front of the camera, but I think after another year or two she'll be working the lens with no problem  :)  For now, I just keep my distance and wait to catch a genuine smile with the help of some flowers, a snow cone, and a fountain.

Three's Company

I was excited to get an email from mom wanting another shoot with me.  She was so sweet to work with the first time around about 9 months ago when she brought her little man for pictures.  This time I got to capture the whole family and they are as sweet in real life as they look on this blog.

Cuteness times two

I first met these dolls when they were in utero, then later as newborns, and now they're toddling around and giving mom and dad a good workout.  It is soooo special to get to photograph them over the last year.  Their personalities are now clearly defined and they are ready to take over the world.  So happy to see the Busey family again.

Made-my-morning-McMullens

This little bunch we met and got to know through baseball and I was excited to get to capture them looking their best.  I am loving momma's color blocked dress against the blue mosaic wall.  They were so sweet at 8 am on Saturday morning.  I know it was work to get everyone dressed and downtown so early, but it sure paid off.

Sugar and Spice

I could have sat and snuggled this dumpling all morning.  Her sweet face and chubby legs had me doting on a baby girl I'd only just met.  See for yourself.  I bet she puts a smile on your face, too.
