The Chapman Family

Mom, Courtney, and I met in 2nd grade in Mrs. Elkin's class many years ago.  We grew up together, went away to college together, and we now raise our families in our hometown together.  We go way back, but I don't remember a sweeter time than now.  She rules her roost of boys and does it well.  They are so adorable and I'm happy to have captured them at this stage.  Happy Monday!

And time marches on.

Our summertime freedom will soon come to an end.  But, despite its departure we hide deep in our hearts the memories of time spent with friends, family, and each other. 

A dose of inspiration for you and me

I'm lounging on the deck of a beach house feeling so inspired and relaxed.  While I was pondering the things I wanted to accomplish in the coming fall, I thought perhaps those of you planning your fall sessions could use a little inspiration yourselves.  Check out Inspire Me Baby for some ideas and inspiration for you!  And while you're there you can check out the article that featured one of Heartspun's couture shoots last fall.

A very special shoot

This family happens to be family! They came in for a visit from Monterrey, Mexico and we thought it was the perfect occasion to capture some special images if their little family.  This uncle was my favorite growing up.  He was the one that would take us to the movies, bowling, for pizza on a whim.  Spoiled us rotten in every way.  He met a beautiful lady, inside and out, and together they have their perfect little family.  I was so happy to do this for them.  They've done so much for us and are always so selfless.
