Amie: Senior 2011

Sweet senior Amie picked the perfect place for her senior pictures. I know we've been needing rain and I would certainly welcome it, but the sun sure has been on my side for this busy shooting season. 

I told Amie that hats should be her thing.  She looks so poetic in her hat.  She'll also be heading to TAMU in the fall and rooming with friends.  So many wonderful experiences in the near future for Amie.  I know her parents are so proud of the fine young woman she has turned out to be.  Congratulations, Amie.  Change the world!

Two Busey Babies...Cute as can be

Brooke and Bailey are here and as you can tell, they're completely adored.  It was such an intimate shoot.  Being invited into their home when they're in the throes of newborn life (times two) made me feel as if they really trusted me.  Thank you for letting me in.

Last day for Lemonade

Oh these babies are irresistable.  These were my last two shoots of the weekend and I know the mommas have patiently waited for their sneak peek.  I hope it was worth the wait.  Our Sunday shoots were a little trickier as it was a much windier day than our Saturday shoots, but I am rather fond of the backlit, flyaway hair.  It's so sweet and soft.

Thank you to all of those that participated in these shoots.  I had asked all of my clients to arrive early so as to stay on schedule and everyone showed up early and looking so perfect for our set.  Amber and I had a great time! 

We've got to think of a theme for our next couture shoots! I can't wait!

Good Friday for Lemonade

First on the lineup today is Emma.  Emma is the daughter of Amber, who is responsible for our cute set. Even at this age I can tell that not only does Emma have Amber's good looks, but she also has her mother's flair for creativity.  She is a special girl to me.

Our first shoot of the day on Day 2 of our Lemonade shoots was the Eidson boys.  Aren't they adorable in their yellow shirts?  So much personality! Hayden's rosy cheeks and yellow shirt matched our set perfectly.  He was so sweet with little brother who was perfectly content with a cookie in his hand :)

Last, but not least, on this Good Friday are these three gorgeous cousins!!!  I am loving their yellow and greys.  Notice how Amber switched out the red and white stripy straws for the yellow and grey.  She's so handy :)  I'm so impressed with the wardrobe choices of all of my shoots.  Every shoot felt like a staged shoot for Chasing Fireflies or Pottery Barn Kids. 

Of course, these 3 girls were happy to be in front of the camera.  No worries at all as you can see.  Have a great weekend!  I'll be back Monday with the last of the Lemonade shoots!

Lemonade Couture Cont'd

These teen/tween cousins showed up for the lemonade stand being very good sports, but just a few minutes in, I could tell they were not WILD about the lemonade stand so we pulled away from the set a bit and photographed them a little bit more naturally.  And, I'm glad we did!

Then we had the Hubert kids who were just right for the lemonade stand in all of its glory.  They were so sweet in their white and denim, and I love sister's red, sparkly shoes!  Love these images of brotherly/sisterly fun. :)

Lemonade Couture Taylor/Rys Cousins

I am so excited about these couture sessions.  Amber's styling was impeccable and I trusted her 100 percent to accessorize the lemonade stand and make it magical.  I had told her the kind of lemonade stand I was having my husband create.  I wanted the set to look vintage, chic, whimsical, and FUN!  We accomplished it all.  I love the elegant-fun spin on a children's lemonade stand.

The first slot was booked for Miss Audrey and the second slot was for cousins, Kaden and Jackson.  They had endless energy and we started our weekend of shoots with a bang :)
