Viv is busy shooting today..so I'm  here to tide you over with something crafty.

I tried to think of something for all the ladies this time!

I've been on this tie kick lately.

Ties take THREE..or It's a 'Wrap'

Yep..

It's a Boyfriend belt to wear with those comfy Boyfriend jeans! :)

(super easy and very little sewing required.)

that was Take ONE and Take TWO :)

First: Cut a tie to the desired length for a low hanging belt.

Next: tuck in the edges and Sew or hand stitch.

Third: Hand sew  a cute decorative button.

Cut TWO pieces of velcro and use Fabric glue for attaching.

Glue down to each end of tie.

Busey babies on the way

I got to photograph these two just before they were married a couple of years and I'm so flattered to get to photograph them now, just before their babies arrive.  They will be welcoming 2 sweet girls in a few weeks and we were anxious to get these pictures behind us before the sweet babes got too restless.  Doesn't she look fabulous?!  TWO babies!  Wow!  Mom is already making plans to begin her post-partum workouts and all I could contemplate when pregnant was what flavor DQ Blizzard I was going to have every afternoon.  I was never this cute when pregnant.

They were up for anything and so we had a good time strolling around and looking for texture.  The weather was wonderful and the parents looked beautiful.  Can't you envision their girls looking at these pictures of them years from now.  This was a good shoot.  A great shoot.

Trey: Senior 2011

Though I love meeting new clients, I have to say there's always an element of reservation when heading to a session with brand new clients only because I'm wierd like that.  BUT, much to my delight Trey and family were like home-folk and they were so super sweet and so super easy to work with.  We just clicked.   Here are a few images of Trey for mom.  I'm sure he looks entirely too grown up for the likes of a mom and dad graduating their youngest baby boy.  Thanks for peeking and Happy Friday!!

Butcher paper, 3 rolls crepe paper, plastic table cloth, straws, white dollar plates, construction paper,

cake mix, cupcake liners, frosting, brown paper sacks, 4 sheets decorative scrapbook paper, and chocolate syrup.

All of this = TWENTY dollars

Things i had from home:

two oatmeal containers (any container will work)

Milk

tape, scissors, stapler.

Doss-Holly and Lott

These little ones are the last of my Knit Fit minis.  They are the children of BJane and they had us laughing heartily as they showed off their personalities for the camera.  A friend that was there with me suggested video taping photo shoots and I have to say it's a brilliant idea.  You wouldn't believe what goes on 'behind the scenes.'

I've been sporadic about posting, but I've been in a little bit of a rut.  I'm starting to feel re-energized and hoping to post more things, more personal things.  I'd kind of stepped back from doing that realizing there are negative critics reading, but truth be told there are far more friendly ones and I rather enjoy sharing and getting the feedback and/or suggestions from my friendly readers.  So, I thank you for the encouragement and I send you a big virtual bear hug.

Birthday girl Chloie

Sweet Chloie turned seven recently and she is in full seven-cuteness.  Mom always does such a good job of ensuring that Chloie looks adorable and always has the right hair accessory.  This little girl is so precious and so sweet and I love being around her.   It so happens that she is in my son's first grade class and he ensures me that Chloie is , in his words, "perfect."  I have no doubt :)
