For dreamers like me

Are you like me?  Are you constantly re-decorating your home in your head and waiting for the funds to do so?  I have manila folders with plenty of magazine cutouts and swatches so when i stumbled upon the handy organizer I was in heaven.

Found this baby at Homegoods in Atascocita in the stationery section for a measly $7.99.  Look how cool:

The Andersons plus 1

Oh these precious two were perfect for Old Town Spring.  They were high school sweethearts and years later you can still sense their high -school-sweetheart-kind-of-love. They are adorable together.  They're just a few weeks away from meeting their baby girl and we were on pins and needles hoping that the rain wouldn't thwart our plans because we weren't sure that we would be able to reschedule with Kacye being so close to her due date. Check them out...

The Watsons

This little family of 3 was surprisingly easy to photograph considering their little one is not even 2 years old.  Once I won him over he was eager to hold my hand and throw a smile my way a few times. Old Humble was the perfect spot for this family.  Lots of blues to show off their beautiful, blue eyes.  They're a great looking family so it didn't take much to showcase their best features.

Spring in September

That is where I found myself last Friday evening to meet Karl and his beautiful family for a much anticipated shoot.  I met them in their neck of the woods and even though their home is a good hour away from my home we found things in common.  We had common friends and we even discovered that my husband and Karl work for the same company.  Small world!

Thanks for having me out, Josey Crew.  I wish you a beautiful wedding and an even better marriage!

Baby Carter

The Hudson family has welcomed a new member into their family.  Baby Carter has taken their world by storm and I think they like it. :)

They welcomed me into their home and then we headed outdoors to enjoy the beautiful, peaceful scenery and  a golden sunset.  I left this shoot feeling refreshed.  They were such nice people and seeing them enjoy such a special time in their lives left me feeling so calm and so thankful for my own special blessings.

Baby Marlow

This little peanut is the newest member of our extended family and I just love being around her.  Her eyes sparkle and her smile makes me giddy.  Everything about her is perfection from her fuzzy head to her rolly legs.

Caleb

I photographed Caleb when he was first born and he has certainly changed so much since the last time I saw him.  I would be lying to you if I said that ALL one year old shoots are as easy as it was with Caleb.  He was full of personality and smiles for the ladies.  Already he's a charmer!  This is really so fulfilling for me to get to photograph children over the years and document the way they change.  I've seen some of my young clients come out of their shells before my camera over the years and I love that and I pretend to be responsible for their burgeoning personalities for the hour that we're together.  And when they get tired, hungry, or they're as dirty as all get out, I hand them lovingly to their real mommas and we part ways.  I have it so easy and so wonderful.
