Cooper is a busy guy. He was almost too busy for senior pictures, but mom made sure we nailed down a date and I'm so glad she did. It was hard to go wrong with such a good-lookin fella. He'll be headed to College Station in the fall and I'm certain a good Aggie he will make.
Summer Fun N Sheek
Monday, April 26, 2010
Shawn has been a busy bee trying to get her summer line ready. It's complete and the fabrics are so adorable. We met up a few weeks ago to photograph her summer stuff that is up and ready to be snatched up on her etsy shop. Check out her etsy and her blog!
P.S. I'm about to close my May calendar. Here are the slots I have left:
Friday, May 21st (afternoon)
Sunday, May 23 (afternoon)
Friday, May 28 (afternoon)
Cortney: A senior shoot
Thursday, April 22, 2010
Is it just me or do seniors these days have a sharp sense of style? Cortney certainly has a style of her own and it is so much fun to photograph. I met Cortney and mom downtown for this shoot. The weather was so nice and the setting was modern and traditional all in one. We had a few giggles at the suspect lurkers that hung around to get a look at what we were doing, but we managed to have a lovely shoot regardless. Thank you, Ladies, for a fun afternoon!
Dalton: A senior shoot
Tuesday, April 20, 2010
Dalton has an impressive plan for his future. He'll be going to school in Oklahoma and will be joining a livestock judging team and get to travel all over. Impressive, eh? All I knew when I was a senior was that I was going to A&M and I desperately needed my bath towels to match my bedspread.
I met Dalton and mom in Liberty, TX to shoot some pictures of Dalton that would suit him. I think the location was right up his alley. And though he is all grown up, mom was not far behind us admiring the baby she raised into a fine young man. I think I'll keep my son in kindergarten for just a few more years...
Marissa: A Senior Shoot
Thursday, April 15, 2010
I've received some emails and phone calls regarding appointments for shoots. I do have a few appts. left for the month of May. However, my son was diagnosed with mono this week so I'm finishing up client work for this week and will respond to emails on Monday provided he shows improvement. If it becomes apparent that he will be well in the near future I will certainly be opening up those appts within the next week or so and will get in contact with you ASAP. Thank you for your patience.
Marissa and her parents made a day trip from Longview, TX for her Senior shoot and I promised to have her blog post this week. I couldn't disappoint her after a long trip to see me!
Little Gus
Wednesday, April 14, 2010
Little Gus concludes the mini sessions at the Victorian house, which incidentally is open for business on Friday. The first time I photograph a child it takes a while to get them to warm up to me. BUT, by the 3rd or 4th time I photograph them they are hugging me and we are suddenly on a first name basis the instant our eyes meet. Such was the case with Gus. He was completely uninterested in me and my shenanigans the first time we met in November of 2008, but he was practically in my hip pocket this go-round. Happy Birthday, Andi!
Emma and Ella
Tuesday, April 13, 2010
They're cousins, but I have a feeling that these two cuties will grow up more like sisters. Emma is definitely the leader and had no problem with stealing all of the attention. Ella is so laid back and so content to watch her older cousin in action. I can't wait to hear stories about the things they get into together when they're older. I am sure my Natalie won't be too far behind. Enjoy these darlings in their bright and sassy dresses.
