It seems I get the CUTEST kids ever to photograph. Check these guys out!

We have rescheduled this session a few times due to the insane amount of rain we've gotten this summer and we were so lucky we started bright and early at 8:30 because by 10 the rain was pouring down again. Another hot, sticky morning, but you'd never know from these cute pictures.
These gals were visiting from Tennessee. Aunt Sarah and Aunt Christy took a road trip down to visit family. Doesn't that sound fun??!! Now get a load of these blue eyes.

Mom did a great job picking out clothes for the kiddos. I love patterns and stripes and dots! This is one of my favorite mother/child images.

Special thanks to Mimi for the location on short notice! Love ya!

Leibham Benefit
Thursday, July 19, 2007
Tomorrow night my husband will be reuniting with his old band to play for a benefit for Mason Leibham. Mason was born with Pfeiffer Syndrome a few months ago. He is a fighter and has already undergone major procedures with many more in his future. If you can, please come support this little guy and his family. There will be live and silent auctions. I will be donating a gift certificate to be auctioned off. I believe the band will start around 8pm at the Crosby Knights of Columbus Hall. I hope you can make it!

These cuties were super in the 90 degree weather and mosquitos the size of TEXAS!!!

They both have the most beautiful eyes. They're obviously at very different stages, but both were so fun in their own way. Kaedon was ready to play and get dirty which I'm pretty used to with my almost 4 year-old and sweet Dalton just watched the action. Considering their age difference (4 years vs. 4 months) I wanted to be sure to get a tootsie shot.

Mom was telling me that when Kaedon was little he won a photography contest and it is certainly not hard to believe. Both are so cute.
Dalton is so chubby that when our session was over I asked Mom if I could hold him and squish him. I loved it!

A go-getter

Miss Lauren is graduating from high school early and getting a head start on her college education at TAMU. Once upon a time Lauren was a precious fourth grader that I doted on as a substitute teacher when I would come home from College Station to make a little extra money subbing. I remember her so well. She was so sweet and so cute! She's still as sweet AND cute!

I was excited about my session with Lauren because SHE was so excited over the last few weeks as we corresponded via email about our shoot. It makes it so fun and rewarding when a client loves your work so much that they want you to take their pictures. Really, it is so gratifying for me as a creative person.

My Ethan got to tag along with me for this shoot and I was SO blessed that Lauren's mom and little sister, Rachel, were there to help me keep him entertained while momma worked. Thank you!!!!!

And last is probably my favorite shot of the session. Natural, beautiful, and just a tad flirty :) I had fun, fun, fun Lauren!

Loved every bit of it. Go if ever the opportunity presents itself. We did SOOOO many things in a short amount of time. My legs and feet were exhausted, but it was worth it. My 10 favorite NY things to do(since I can't list all 345 things):
1. Eating Magnolia Bakery dessert on a bench in the West Village.
2. The subway
3. Broadway Show - Hairspray
4. Walking the oh-so-quaint sidewalk to our hotel on 51st St.
5. Dinner in Little Italy
6. Visiting St. Patrick's Cathedral
7. Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (very 'underground')
8. Walking Times Square at night with a coke and a bag of Southwest chipotle popcorn from Dale and Thomas.
9. people watching in Central Park
10. Frozen Hot Chocolate at Serendipity (thanks for making wait the hour, Jen)
Here are just a few pics of many.
China town
The Brooklyn Bridge
Ground Zero was completely under construction, but I spotted the American Flag through a chain link fence.

Jen's Birthday!

Crosby Street!!!!
